Expectations

I had already seen Steel Panther twice before, but both times were at festivals. And even though they totally won me over with those performances, I still hadn’t experienced a full solo show in a closed venue. That was still missing on my concert checklist. This time, I had VIP tickets with a meet and greet included—so expectations were definitely high!

Arrival, Merch & Beer

I arrived early since check-in for the meet and greet started at 17:30. At 18:00 we were let inside. The meet and greet included a professional photo with the band—no selfies or autographs—but it was totally fine, and my picture turned out great. The band members were exactly as you'd imagine them: cool, friendly, and hilarious.

After the photo session, VIP guests had early access to the merch booth before general admission doors opened. I grabbed a tour shirt and spotted lots of signed items. I went for a signed drumhead that said "Glory Hole" on it, complete with a bold graphic. For 50 euros, it was a solid deal—and by the end of the night, they were completely sold out.

The beer was from Hacker-Pschorr, which I don’t see often at venues but definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more. No tour cups—just regular ones. The only downside was how slow the beer lines were. The show was sold out, and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a drink. Luckily, I met two awesome followers there who surprised me with three beers. Huge thanks to you both!

Black Sonic Pearls

I wasn’t even sure if there would be an opening act—sometimes Steel Panther plays without one. But when I saw merch for a band called Black Sonic Pearls, I started asking around and realized no one seemed to know them. And that turned out to be a great thing, because they delivered an incredible performance.

Tight sound, great stage presence, solid songs—they really nailed it. I hope they get more attention and chances to tour again. They’d be a perfect fit as a support act for more shows. I even bought their signed vinyl and got a photo with the band. Totally worth it.

Steel Panther

The show kicked off with their signature opener, “Eye of the Panther”—the perfect start to get the whole crowd singing and going wild. From there, it was a mix of hits, hilarious banter, and crowd interaction. A Steel Panther show is more than just music—it’s part concert, part comedy set, and you’re laughing at every line between songs.

This tour included pole dancers. On either side of the stage, there were one or two dancers (four in total), switching in and out, doing wild moves and adding to the party vibe.

Of course, no Steel Panther show is complete without a few of their trademark moments—like inviting two women from the crowd on stage while the band sings their usual over-the-top lyrics. Later, during three or four songs, they invited all the women in the crowd who wanted to dance to come up on stage. The result? A stage full of people having fun, pole dancers in motion, and the band doing their thing. The energy was amazing.

They closed the show with their classic finisher, “Glory Hole,” and had the crowd singing every word from beginning to end—with huge smiles on every face.

Final Thoughts

Eventhall Airport really surprised me—in a good way. The venue had a cool layout, fun decorations, and a great atmosphere. Everyone working there was friendly, the beer was good, and prices were fair. The show itself? Absolute blast.

It was a 10 out of 10 for pure fun. Sure, the beer lines could move faster, but I could see the staff doing their best. Hopefully, that’ll improve with time. Either way, I’d definitely go back to that venue—and absolutely see Steel Panther again.
