The original of this pendant was found in Foss, in the Hrunamannahreppur municipality of southern Iceland — a patch of barren ground that yielded one of the more distinctive Mjölnir amulets in the archaeological record. Dated to the 9th century, the original is catalogued as number 6077 in the National Museum of Iceland.
What makes this hammer distinctive is the wolf biting the cord — a detail not seen on most Mjölnir reproductions. It is a small piece, at 20 × 10 mm, but closely crafted from solid bronze. The kind of thing you wear daily and people notice when they do.
Comes with a brown leather cord.
