This 10 cm bronze figure is a reproduction of one of the most striking archaeological finds of the Norse world — an Odin figurine discovered in Lindby, Sweden. Like the original, the reproduction is deliberately missing the left arm, keeping faith with the archaeological record and the myth: Odin, the Allfather, who sacrificed not his eye but everything to gain wisdom.
Odin stands at the center of the Norse pantheon — god of wisdom, war, death, poetry, and the runic alphabet. His presence spans the full arc of Germanic history, from the early Roman period through the height of the Viking Age. For the Norse people, a figurine like this wasn't decoration — it was a household guardian, a focal point for prayer, and a physical representation of divine presence.
The original can be viewed in the Swedish History Museum collection (object ID 79B27EF4).
