The teeth, serrated and recurved, retain traces of gold fused into the enamel, a result of prolonged contact between the treasure-hoard on which he slept and the heat that resided within his breath. The immense jaw structure and resonating cavities of the skull once amplified a voice described as both enthralling and terrible.
