Tears In Rain: "Inspired by the character Roy, played by Rutger Hauer, in the wonderful sci-fi movie Blade Runner. Roy is a Replicant with a pre-programmed short life span. He desperately searches for a way to extend his life. His final scene is possibly the most moving and emotional scene of any sci-fi movie. The Blade Runner movie is based on a book by Philip K Dick called 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'. Some songs on my Silicon Messiah album were inspired by that book."

Rage: "Inspired by the Welsh folk tale of Prince Llywelyn and Gelert."

The Year Beyond This Year: "Maybe it will take me a while to get where I want to go. First I have to let go of the regrets and sadness that keep me looking back instead of ahead. Then slowly and gently prepare myself for the future I want, however humble or glorious it is. There is no rush. A small step is still a step.
